Summary: Some things you never want to know about.
If we had known he was there, we might have stopped. Then again, maybe we wouldn't have. I was sitting in my chair, facing away from the door, one leg propped up on the desk and the other pushed as far out as it would go.
I was on fire.
Who knew that it could feel so good to have someone's mouth down there, underneath your skirt, kissing your hot wet pussy like they would your mouth? Listen to me, I never use words like that.
Maybe if I hadn't been moaning so loud I would have heard the door open, or him whispering my name in confusion. He hadn't seen yet. He couldn't have or else I don't think he would have stayed.
We were right in the middle of things.
That tongue just wouldn't stop, not like I wanted it to. We had avoided this for so long for one reason. One reason only. One reason that had totally consumed both our lives.
We didn't know he was there. God, why did he have to be so damn persistant? Why did he have to come over? Why didn't he use the window like always?
I screamed out my orgasm.
He must've thought something was wrong because suddenly he was right there, pushing her away from me and looking me over.
What did he think she was doing to me? Hurting me? Never. She would never hurt me. She turned my insides to liquid, made me tingle, feel that fire raging inside me that previously only Max could put out.
I opened my eyes a crack and he was staring at me, not fully comprehending the situation until my eyes widened and I looked at Tess. She was sitting against the wall where Max had pushed her, wiping her mouth.
That's when he saw it.
Max knew he had just interrupted something. His jaw dropped to the floor as he glanced from me to Tess. I could see he was going to fall. I quickly put myself together and helped him to the bed. He didn't look mad. He looked upset. He looked in shock.
"Why?" he asked me. "I thought you loved me, Liz."
"Max..." I started. My mind went blank. What was I going to say to him? I'm in love with your destiny? She's in love with your soulmate? None of those sounded right. "I'm sorry."
"How long?" He demanded. He was angry.
Tess and I exchanged glances.
"Since that day you guys were following me around." Tess whispered. "You had Liz follow me into the girls' bathroom."
"Nothing's ever happened before tonight." I thought that might make him feel a little better. That we had restrained ourselves until we were both free to pursue us. That morning in the girls' bathroom had been heated but it was just making out in the far bathroom stall.
I hated that look on his face. He looked like he'd been punched. He got to his feet and trudged out the way he came.
We held each other and cried. We hadn't wanted to hurt anyone with us. It had been our secret. No one was supposed to know. He wasn't supposed to know, but he did. Max found out.
Max knew. He'd tell Isabel. She'd tell Michael and Alex. Alex would tell Maria. She'd tell Kyle. I pulled away and looked in her eyes and I knew she was thinking the same thing I was. She shook her head.
"We can't run away. I've spent my entire life running away. I won't do it anymore." She kissed my lips softly. "We'll make it."
I believed her.
What else could I do? I could love her. So that's what I did.
I loved her.
Returning to what we'd been doing as if he'd never interrupted. Some things you just gotta block out. Move on.
We moved on together. Liz Parker and Tess Harding. To some it will sound stranged but to us it's music.
